Barry advises that the fish cooker has been fixed and tested OK. A (substantial) bill will be sent to the treasurer.
We are getting ready for the Kojonup visit. The club will take them to Lucky Bay, use the local bbq's and spend a relaxing Saturday (15 April) on the beach. It is suggested we car pool, leaving from the shed. Barry will issue details via email.
The Golf Classic is on April 16. We will need 4-5 golf playing members to cook fish and chips.
The Yabby Classic was a great success, Barry thanks Pancho, John Honey, John Gray and Kaj for their help on the day.

The Harvey Rotary Club has requested the simulator for the whole of term 2 - which fits with our schedule. If feasible Jim would like to come and collect the drive simulator on the weekend of April 16 and come to our meeting on April 17 (partner night, induction Pratz)
The Lookout break-in has been reported to police. Neil has closed off the top. He is looking for a 10feet, 3" pipe to replace the one that was taken. After the meeting Paul Channon offered to inquire at CBH.

GUEST SPEAKER - Paul Channon, CBH
Guest speaker intro - Kaj
Kaj mentions that, as a non-farmer he has no conflict of interest here. He mentions that Paul started his career as a plumber. He rolled into a job at CBH some 23 years ago and has stayed there ever since. Over to Paul.
Paul recalls his first interaction with Rotary when they sponsored him to go to Germany. He started his CBH career in Corrigin - 1999. This year's harvest had its quality impacted by heavy rains. CBH is still receiving crop into the port. Overall they are in line to set new records not only for Esperance, but all around the country. They set out to sample bags on the farms. Chris Robarts queries whether this can be done earlier as it impacts the ability to market the produce. John Gray comments that the crop was some 1 1/2 month late. He also asks about crop being carried over (3M tons in Kwinana). Paul mentions that they look at building extra storage at Munglinup and anticipates further growth over the next 10 years.
Guest speaker thanks - John Gray
John thanks Paul for a most informative talk. He gives Paul a pen as memento and members express their appreciation with a rousing applause.
