Given it was the week after the show, the meeting was fairly casual.
Details for next Saturdays Blue Sky dinner have been sent out. Members were to respond by Wednesday morning. Please also indicate your menu choice.
In preparation for the Saturday, the Pier is organising table & chairs from Barbeques Galore. Rod will put a call out for a loan & unload assistance. These will also need to be returned on Monday, for which volunteers will also be required.
The new gazebos are on their way, the new pop up banner was on display on Monday night.
If any members need to be reimbursed for the show entry fees, please see Brian.
The arrangements for the 60th birthday celebrations are nearly complete. Friends of members and partners are also welcome to attend.
Rod is also arranging the promotion of our new award; known as the Shine On award at Australia Day. This award is presented by other Rotary Clubs around Australia to those disabled persons demonstrating community involvement and leadership.

Barry proposed that next year 2x directors organise the clubs involvement in the show; this will take the pressure off of what is a big job.
Vocational:
Schmedje reported to the club that $18k has been raised for Australia day, and we were right for funds.
No update on Fireworks at this stage.
The club agreed that we should look into funding for the drivers simulator, with a view that someone be employed to run this programme. There are some great opportunities with the sim, and Brian has his hands full with this project.
