Correspondence received from Ashley Reid CEO of Cancer Council WA, thanking the Club for the donation of wheel chairs for Crawford Lodge.

A term deposit is due to be lodged this week. Another term deposit will be lodged next month.

The band has been booked for Australia Day. Steve is also going to approach Port for additional funding for this purpose.
Re the Governor’s visit; Ric will only be in town on the 6th of September, and we will seek to have a joint meeting with the Bay Club on that evening.

Wes reminded members of a past member involved with Crawford Lodge (regarding the correspondence inwards) and the clubs past involvement with this organisation.
Wes also addressed the holiday home discrepancy from last week.
Fireworks Committee
A meeting was held last week with the Bay Club, where roles and responsibilities were re-aligned.
Governance Procedures
Brett Guthrie bought us up to date with the policy requirements on child protection.
Forms had been issued to members; we need to get this back to Brett ASAP.
Brett also had some WWCC forms on hand and encouraged members to get these lodged via Rod.

The 60th anniversary dinner is tracking along well. Catering is all sorted now.
The bus company has donated 2x buses for the Sky Blue project.
Norseman want more bikes! A team will be heading up on Friday.
Corrina had a family announcement! We may need to assist her with Media Relations in her absence next year.
